It is made from Aramid called GF 234. It is protection level NIJ 3A according to the NIJ 01.01.04 Standart.

Will stop 9mm and 0.44magnum bullets aswell as Fragmentation. This ballistic protection vest will protect the upper body from fragmentations and from direct pistol shots of the specified bullets listed in the label.

Against knives it is Slash protection. (its stab proof capabilities are quite low which is why you should mention Slash proof not Stab proof). The outer garment is made of Polyester / Cotton. The outer garment is WR (water repelant). You wear this vest over your upper body and you close and open the vest by tightening the Velcro straps.
