Skarr Armor 2022 NIJ certified Kevlar ballistic panel demo. Just because a vest was lab tested, doesn't mean it's NIJ certified or made in USA, and not all made in USA vests are certified. If the product is not listed or "inactive" under the company's name on The National Institute Of Justice's site, it means the product is neither passed the certification or the certification has expired.

NIJ certification test is way more. And difficult than the lab test. Usually a regular lab test only shoots the vest 3 times with a single size panel which can be done within a hour. Certification test takes up to 2 weeks across the entire size range because different size performs differently. Then the panels have to pass the dry test and the wet test. For the wet test, the panels will be washed in hot water.

Continuously for days then taken out and get shot again, and most subpar quality vests will fail at this stage if they're lucky enough to pass the dry test. Tested by US NIJ certified lab, it complies with NIJ IIIA, latest 0101.06 standard.

Even though this vest is designed for deep concealment, however nothing is absolute, concealability is based on size, fit, body shape, and outer garment. Even thou body armor is a defensive product.
